1. Scope of application

This policy applies to all international auction transactions conducted through Micafi.com, including auctions on leading global platforms such as eBay (United States, Germany, United Kingdom) and Yahoo! Auctions (Japan).

• It also applies to other international auction platforms such as Liquidation.com, AllSurplus, GovDeals, Machinio, Wayfair Liquidations, and other lawful auction websites that Micafi verifies for credibility before accepting auction requests.
• Micafi carefully reviews the origin, reliability, and transaction terms of each platform before representing customers in auctions, ensuring safety, transparency, and legal compliance for every transaction.

2. Rights and obligations of the parties

Micafi

• Micafi represents customers in international auctions, processes payments, coordinates export and import procedures, and arranges cross-border shipping through partner networks suitable for each market.
• Micafi provides honest and complete information, regularly updates auction progress, and clearly communicates auction results to customers.
• Micafi supports customers in handling post-purchase issues in accordance with the policies and terms of the relevant international auction platforms, such as eBay, Yahoo! Auctions, and other lawful auction platforms.

Customer

• Customers must provide accurate and complete information and make payments on time according to Micafi’s instructions.
• Customers must understand, agree to, and comply with the auction rules and terms of international auction platforms before Micafi carries out transactions on their behalf.
• Customers may adjust the bidding amount or cancel the request if Micafi has not yet officially confirmed participation in the auction.
• Once Micafi has placed a valid bid on the auction platform, any request to cancel or modify the bid will not be accepted, unless otherwise permitted under the rules of the relevant international auction platform.

3. Auction participation process via Micafi

Micafi acts as a trusted intermediary, representing customers throughout the auction process, payment, and coordination of cross-border shipping through partner networks suitable for each market.

The process is carried out transparently and clearly in the following three steps.

Step 1: Submit an auction request

• Customers send Micafi the product link they wish to bid on, along with the desired bidding amount and contact information.
• After verifying the legality and credibility of the seller or auction platform, Micafi will confirm the request and guide the customer to pay 100% of the auction deposit amount.

Step 2: Micafi participates in the auction on the customer’s behalf

• Micafi will bid on the customer’s behalf, process payment, confirm the transaction, and handle all procedures after the auction ends.
• If the auction is successful, Micafi will purchase the item on the customer’s behalf, coordinate customs procedures, tax declarations if applicable, and arrange cross-border shipping through partner networks suitable for each country and region.

Step 3: Result notification and refund

• If the auction is won, Micafi will send a confirmation notice, update the final winning price, and proceed with the purchase transaction as committed.
• If the auction is not won, customers may use the deposited amount to purchase another item or participate in a new auction. If there is no further need, Micafi will refund 100% of the deposit without charging any fees.

4. Payment and costs

• Customers must pay 100% of the auction item value before the auction takes place.
• The amount proposed by the customer serves as the maximum bidding limit, and Micafi will bid based on the principle of securing the best possible outcome for the customer.
• After a successful auction, the final payable amount is the official winning price of the auction, which may be lower than the customer’s proposed amount.

5. Return and refund policy

• If Micafi does not win the auction, the full amount paid by the customer will be refunded in full.
• If the item is not as described, is damaged, or the seller ships the wrong product, Micafi will represent the customer in filing claims and working with the auction platform or seller in accordance with each platform’s policies.
• All return and refund requests will be handled in accordance with the auction policies and regulations of the relevant international platforms, such as eBay and Yahoo! Auctions.

6. Important notes

• Micafi does not directly own or sell products and acts solely as an intermediary for auction participation and payment on behalf of customers.
• Auction results depend on competitive bidding levels and the auction rules of each international platform.
• Some auction items may be subject to shipping country restrictions, and Micafi will provide clear notice before accepting such requests.
